V-IOP is designed for adults managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and other complex mental health conditions who need flexible access to intensive clinical care.

We also accept out-of-network benefits from additional carriers, and private pay is available for those who prefer to pay directly. Our Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia locations are participating providers in the VA Community Care Network, expanding access to care for eligible veterans.

H.E.A.R.T. Virtual IOP Program Structure

Our 29-day H.E.A.R.T. Program is a structured, evidence-based virtual IOP designed to help clients stabilize, heal, and build sustainable life skills. 

Each week builds on the last, guiding participants through emotional regulation, relational growth, identity development, and long-term resilience. Clients participate in group therapy sessions four days per week, supported by licensed clinicians using trauma-informed, whole-person care.

Program Requirements

To ensure each participant gets the most out of this evidence-based, therapist-led virtual treatment, individuals are expected to engage consistently in scheduled sessions, have a reliable internet connection and private space for attendance, and be in a safe, stable environment where they can actively participate in group and individual therapeutic activities.

Our admissions team will guide you through this process and help confirm that virtual care is a good fit for your needs before you begin the program. Below are some of the basic requirements for participation in the program.

✔  A personal device with access to Zoom

(preferably not a phone)

✔  A private space that is well-lit.

✔  Strong, reliable WIFI or internet access

(to support video streaming and uninterrupted connection for 3 hours)

✔  Headphones or earbuds encouraged

(to improve sound and microphone quality and maintain confidentiality)

Additional Levels of Care

Outpatient mental health treatment at Pasadena Villa Outpatient extends beyond virtual IOP. Our continuum of care also includes a full-day partial hospitalization program (PHP) and in-person IOP with day and evening options — giving clients the flexibility to step up, step down, or enter at the level of care that fits their needs.
